Shop225 with his siter venue Il Caminetto were recognised at the esteemed Guida Chef di Pizza Stellato awards held on the 25th of Nov 2024 at the luxurious Gran Hotel La Sonrisa in Naples, Italy.

This international event celebrates the artistry and excellence of pizzerias worldwide, aiming to fill the gap left by the Michelin Guide, which does not yet include pizzerias in its rankings.

The awards, known as the “Pizza Chef’s Stars,” honored 70 top pizzerias from around the globe, judged by a panel of experts who traveled extensively to evaluate the very best in pizza craftsmanship. Renowned names such as Antica Pizzeria da Michele (featured in Eat, Pray, Love), I Masanielli di Francesco Martucci, and Antica Pizzeria Frattese were among the celebrated participants.

Shop225 and Il Caminetto proudly joins this prestigious lineup as two of only four Australian pizzerias recognized. Alongside Il Caminetto, They were both awarded 2 stars, a testament to the dedication, passion, and craftsmanship that define its approach to pizza-making.
