About Us


Established in late 2016 by Lorenzo and Roberto with a simply yet complicated idea:

get everyone with different dietary requirements to be able to sit at one table and enjoy a meal without compromising in taste.


We have started from the beginning by increasing our vegan and gluten free range, using all gluten free certified products and making in house as much produces as possible, over the years we have developed vegan notella, vegan mozzarella, vegan sausages, gluten free pizza dough, gluten free savoiardi biscuits, vegan and gluten free tiramisu and many more...


We have helped push veganism and awareness for gluten free in the industry by getting our home-made products available to others. In 2018 we became the first pizza shop accredited by Coeliac Australia in the whole Australia, opening the doors to many more pizza shops to follow with the procedures and standards we help to set (gluten free means NO gluten, a tiny bit is not ok!)


At Shop225 we cater for Coeliacs, Vegans, Dairy free, Halal, Vegetarians, people who can eat garlic nor onions but we also prepare traditional Italian recipes.


Our menu is created with all this in mind, focusing in traditional, simple Italian food, from our home-made pasta, gnocchi and gluten free pizza dough to our wood fire pizza made from 72 hours proof dough.


Over the past years we have been name top 10 best pizza shop in Melbourne, top 10 vegan restaurant, top 10 vegetarian restaurant by many, to named a couple Guide Food Guide, Broadsheet, The Age, UrbanList, Herald Sun...


We are are proud of our humble shop and we want you to feel like at a guest at our house when you come and dine with us, that is what the Italian food is all about!
